I found a little patch of primroses on my travels today and the colours stood out as I rarely see pink ones and there were two shades of pink in this patch amongst the usual yellow ones.
I had no idea there were pink variants of primula vulgaris, had always just assumed they were polyanthus escapees! Learn something everyday! :-D
