Day 26 - In the garden

A bit of time in the garden this evening. I found froghopper and shieldbug nymphs...

and sat and read the summer section of this lovely book (a gift)

I looked up at the sky and noticed this...

I went upstairs for a better view of the sun dog, ice crystals causing the bright spots either side of the sun.

On this day last year I collected pine cones for a bug hotel at school. In 2016 I met a devil's coach horse and in 2015 I looked for bugs in the garden.
